Challenge Cyclocross Tyres
All you need to know about Challenge Cyclocross TLR tyres in one place.
We’ve put this post together so that it’s easy to find all the recommended terrain conditions and tyre pressures for the various Challenge Cyclocross tyres. Please note that all of the information has been taken from the manufacturers website and the tyres themselves.
These specifications are for the TLR Tubeless Ready versions of the tyres which is why some of the pressures may seem higher than expected or you currently run.
Many CX racers reduce tyre pressure further to increase grip. The negative effect of lowering your pressures too far can be bottoming out the tyre into the rim and tyre roll when applying power or corning hard. It’s a real fine balance but experimenting in training and pre race siting laps is key.
We have laid the page out in a way that it is easy to read on mobile phones at your cyclocross races.
We hope you find it useful.

Limus means mud in Latin, which is exactly where this tyre dominates. Deep, aggressive, and well-spaced knobs cut through muddy conditions so you can flow through corners, zip thru off-camber sections, and powering up inclines with ease. A great tire for truly extreme conditions like the 2018 CX World Championships where it won four of five gold medals.
