RD21 Road Bike Vivid Blue
James Williams’ real world race bike lands with fresh Vivid Blue Metallic paint and new Forwards hologram team graphics just in time for his race season to kick off.
This point one (6.1) update features the beautiful Deda Vinci cockpit which includes, -17 degree stem, carbon bars and headset. Talking of headset, this leads us nicely to the new none internal brake hose forks which are shorter and increase the head angle thus increasing the agility of the RD21. We’ve lost the brake hose integration through the stem entirely for both brakes on this build but still run the Di2 cabling within the stem. The groupset is a Shimano Di2 Dura Ace and Ultegra mix with James focusing on the real big weight savings of Dura Ace and the cost effectiveness of Ultegra. Wheels are Reynolds Carbon AR41X with tubeless Continental 700x25c tyres. Finishing touches that are now fitted but not pictured here are 2x Supacaz Fly Ano Oil Slick bottle cages to compliment the hologram graphics and Deda integrated Garmin mount.
Full RD21 build weight = 7.86kg with Dura Ace Pedals, bottle cages, computer mount, Garmin computer and 60ml of sealant in each tyre.
